Go-Kart Tracks in Brisbane

Brisbane has four karting venues and a nice mix of indoor, outdoor, electric, and petrol options. You can get pretty much any style of racing you want without leaving the metro area. Slideways at Eagle Farm is the pick of the bunch with a 4.6 Google rating. It is an indoor petrol track, which is a combination you do not see everywhere. You get the feel and sound of petrol karts but in a covered venue, so rain is never an issue. The track is well designed and the karts have genuine pace to them. Kingston Park Raceway down in Kingston is the outdoor petrol option. It has a 4.3 rating and a longer circuit where you can really push the karts. The outdoor setting makes for a different experience, especially on a clear day. It is a solid choice if you want something that feels more like real racing. Game Over Brisbane in Oxley covers the indoor electric side. It is a good family venue with party packages and a setup that works well for younger kids or casual sessions. The karts are quick enough to be fun but not intimidating for first timers. Brisbane's subtropical climate means you can race outdoors most of the year. The main thing to watch out for is the heat from November through March. If you are heading to Kingston Park in summer, book a morning session or go late in the afternoon. The indoor tracks obviously do not have that problem. Most venues run birthday party packages and group rates. Prices across Brisbane sit around $25 to $50 depending on the venue and session length. Slideways and Kingston Park tend to be at the higher end but you get longer sessions and faster karts for the money.
