My Grandchildren went and played Laser Tag, enjoyed it thoroughly and had the biggest smiles after each game. Though some of the Laser Tag vests didn't work, the young lady Piper did everything she could to help. Including taking my granddaughter into the room herself to help her get some extra points when she was upset about coming last. Customer service was great, glad to see young kids having fun at the place they work while also being professional, thank you Cairns Kart hire and thank you Piper. 5 stars

Very disappointing experience. We booked laser tag in advance for a group of children all under 10 years old. When we arrived, the place was extremely overcrowded. We waited more than 20 minutes just to start, and ended up staying almost 2 hours to complete only 3 missions, which normally takes around 30 minutes. After all that waiting, we were told the kids had to be grouped with adults. This was never explained at booking, and we were not comfortable with it, so we refused. Staff said this “happens a lot,” which only shows poor planning and overbooking. What made the situation worse is that no proper solution was offered. Our money is still with them, and instead of a refund or a fair resolution, they suggested giving our session to another group as compensation, which is completely unacceptable. As a parent and carer, I was very unhappy with how this was handled. The whole experience was stressful, poorly organised, and not what we paid for. I would not recommend this place for young children unless crowd control, communication, and customer service are seriously improved.

We booked the 2-hour unlimited laser tag session on Friday night. My youngest son was terrified at first — it was dark, loud, and overwhelming for him, and he didn’t want to go back in. Talon went above and beyond for us. He found earmuffs, turned down the music and animal noises, and even adjusted the lighting so my son felt safe and confident enough to play again. Nothing we asked was too much — he handled everything with a smile and genuinely cared about making it a positive experience. The customer service across the whole venue was excellent. Thank you for helping us have a great Friday night and turning it into an amazing experience for our family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a blast! Quite possibly the fastest GoKarts I’ve ever been on at a track for the general public and the only ones I’ve ever been in that have 3Point harness belts and adjustable foot pedals. Track is bitumen so there’s more grip and less sliding like you get on concrete tracks. My only suggestion to the owners would be to make the track longer given the size of the block of land available there which has a lot of potential to take it to the next level! Highly recommend this joint. Will definitely go again next time I visit Cairns 🤘🏼

Extremely upset and disappointed. My children attended a booked laser tag session today. They are all children under 16, with the oldest being 10 years old. They completed two missions without issue. However, while we were waiting for the third mission—which we had already paid for—the staff decided to merge our children’s group with adult players. As a mother, I absolutely refuse to allow my children to play laser tag in dark rooms with adults. This is not about distrust of individuals; it is about basic child safety. Laser tag involves running, physical movement, limited visibility, and close contact. Mixing adults with children—especially when some children are as young as 4 years old—creates a clear and unacceptable risk of physical harm. There is also the reality that not all areas are fully monitored by cameras. As a parent, I have a responsibility to assume the worst-case scenario, not because I believe something will happen, but because children must never be placed in situations where supervision is incomplete. When booking, we provided our children’s dates of birth, which I assume exists for age-appropriate grouping—particularly for those under 16. Despite raising our concerns immediately with staff and management, no acceptable solution or compromise was offered. We were left with a choice no parent should have to make: allow our children into an unsafe situation or forfeit a paid activity. I am deeply distressed by this experience. Children’s safety, dignity, and emotional wellbeing should never be compromised for convenience or scheduling. Parents deserve transparency, proper age separation, and environments where children are fully supervised at all times. I am sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision.
