Geelong does not have a permanent go-kart track at the moment, but the closest options in Melbourne are not a huge drive away. Le Mans Entertainment in Dandenong South and Ace Karts in Albion are both within about an hour depending on traffic, and both are worth the trip. The Geelong region keeps growing and there has been talk about motorsport and entertainment venues popping up as the population expands. For now though, most locals either head up the freeway to Melbourne or combine a karting trip with other activities in the western suburbs. If you are based on the Bellarine Peninsula or in Geelong proper, your best bet is to plan a half day around it. Drive up to one of the Melbourne tracks, knock out a few races, and grab lunch while you are there. The western suburbs tracks like Ace Karts or Karting Madness in Braybrook are the quickest to reach from the Geelong end of the freeway. We will update this page if any venues open closer to Geelong. It is a market that could definitely support a track given the size of the city these days.
