Such a fun experience for all ages. We were a family of 6 so we went in the tandems, we had a 5yr, 9yr and 12yr old. Safety was very thorough, they provided neck supports to for the kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. We only did 10 minutes which I originally thought wasn’t very long however it was enough for our family. It is noisy, and the steering is heavy so if it’s your first time I would say 10 mins was perfect. Without kids I may have enjoyed 20 mins. It was also fun to watch the motor cycles racing round. Definitely a memorable experience. Also loved how they email you your race times at the end.
The tracks are very well maintained, and the karts are in good condition as well. Helmets and balaclavas are provided. Shoes are mandatory; if you don’t have suitable footwear, you can pay extra and they will provide temporary shoes along with a new pair of socks. You can take the socks with you after the race. We visited the Phillip Island Go Kart circuit with our group of nine, including several teenagers eager to try out the track. I had a great time on the track. It was my daughter’s first go on their own (15&18) which they both really enjoyed. Very professional on track information brought to our attention for a safe experience. We went on a family course.
