We were here for a birthday party and our boys are keen for another visit soon. There are three party rooms (that i could see) with several arcade games that kept the children busy while waiting their turn to have a kart race, which they thoroughly enjoyed. They have birthday party packages which include food options - chips, pizza slices, wedges, nuggets, etc. To play the arcade games you need to have tokens which u purchase using cash only (no card option but they have an atm in front) at a token machine . I made the mistake of inserting a $50 note, expecting to be provided the option to select the value of tokens I'd like 😫🤦♀️ the machine went ahead and gave me $50 worth of tokens 😫 without letting me choose. Fun atmosphere with great music!
I’ve been visiting Power Karts once a month (on average) for about a year now and it’s always been a fun experience. More recently, my friends and I have made our fortnightly visits here a fun social night of racing followed by dinner nearby. The track and karts are well maintained. The staff are super friendly and accommodating to all ages and experience. The staff ensure each race experience is safe but fun and can tailor the speed of the electric karts based on the skill of those on track. Track length is great and might take about 30-40 seconds to complete one lap for first timers. Prices are good value for money, especially for the two hours of power specials on Wednesday evenings. We dropped in on a whim to do mini-golf. But the karting was the highlight. My eight-year-old had never participated in karting before, but had a blast in the junior section. I had a go in an adult race and came a respectable second. I'm an electic karting convert, having done both EV and petrol karts. No noise (but the sqealing of wheels when you're not being efficient or smooth), and plenty of acceleration. This is a well-run operation. Highly recommended.
My daughter came in a touch under the minimum height, which as any parent knows can turn into a huge disaster. Luckily for us Silas was there to help! Used the credit from her session to cover some mini golf for all of us & took her over to the smaller track, which was initially a bit underwhelming, but made way more fun by setting up a mini track with traffic cones. Dad got to go kart, kid happy, mum happy all thanks to some great service from a young staff member, who made the time to sort out our problem, despite being clearly very busy. Great work Silas!
