Disclaimer: I don't really get driving around in circles. But I know some people do. We recently visited Ultimate Karting Sydney with two kids. While the track itself is fine, our experience at the front desk was extremely disappointing. One of our kids has already visited this venue twice before and already had a valid licence on their account. We clearly mentioned this right at the start. Despite this, the lady at the front desk kept giving unreasonable excuses and proceeded to charge us again for a licence that had already been paid for. We even asked her how our child was able to drive here in the past if there was no licence on the account. Her response was again, “I can only say what I see in my system.” That response effectively implies that our child previously drove without a licence, which is clearly not true and very concerning to hear. This was clearly an error on their end, yet she refused to even discuss a refund. The amount is not the main issue — mistakes happen — but what was most disappointing was the lack of accountability, professionalism, or even a basic apology. Customer service matters, especially when dealing with families and kids. Unfortunately, this one incident has left a very poor impression. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this place to others, and I personally won’t be visiting again.
Great for the boys to let some steam off and get some friendly competiveness happening. But pricey but good location for us and it's indoors. Karts are good as hire karts go.
