About BattleKart Sydney
BattleKart Sydney sits in the Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park and takes go-karting in a completely different direction from traditional racing. Instead of basic lap timing, this venue uses projected floor graphics and interactive gameplay that genuinely feel like stepping into a video game. Sessions feature games like Mario Kart style racing with dazzling lights, sound effects, and real competitive spirit; Snake, where you collect fruits while avoiding collisions with other karts; and more. Each session includes two entirely different games, and the setup feels properly high-tech and immersive throughout. Hansh and other staff get multiple shoutouts for being friendly, patient, and ensuring everything runs smoothly without hassle. VR experiences are available as add-ons for those wanting even more excitement and adventure. Visitors consistently mention the whole experience feels unique compared to standard karting, with plenty of laughter as players discover that one small mistake in Snake ends your run instantly.

So much fun!!!! Definitely recommend doing this with a group of friends and booking in a couple of different sessions (you get 2 different games per session). The staff were great and friendly - shout out to Hansh for taking really good care of us and making the day great! Ended up adding VR at the end as well which was amazing. The birthday celebrant had a great time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We visited Battle Kart at the Entertainment Quarter in Sydney for the first time, and it was an absolute blast! My son and I had such a fantastic time — this is easily one of the most fun and unique activities we’ve done together in a while. We played two games in a 10-minute session — Mario Kart and Snake. The Mario Kart-style race was thrilling, with lights, sound effects, and plenty of laughter as we zoomed around the track. But the highlight for us was definitely Snake. It was such a clever concept — collecting fruits to make your snake longer while trying not to collide with other karts or snakes. The excitement builds up as the game goes on, and it’s both competitive and hilarious when you realise one small mistake can end your run. The setup is top-notch — everything feels high-tech and perfectly organised. The staff were friendly, patient, and clearly wanted everyone to have a great time. They explained the rules well and made sure the games ran smoothly. The visuals projected onto the floor make it feel like you’re inside a video game, which really adds to the magic. Overall, Battle Kart is perfect for kids, families, or even groups of friends looking for something new and exciting. It’s a great mix of physical driving, gaming, and strategy — and the fun factor is off the charts. We’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Entertainment Quarter.

The website and booking system are EXTREMELY frustrating. It’s hard to choose a session time and add players. A discount is automatically applied when you select multiple sessions, but once that happens you can’t redeem a Groupon voucher—and there’s no way to manually remove the discount. When trying to redeem the Groupon, the credit amount was also incorrect. In the end, I had to wait for staff to manually generate an invoice twice just to complete the payment. The website and booking process deserve zero stars. The session price itself is fair if you’re just paying the minimum. However, I feel most of the games are best suited for around 4 players. Extra people were added into my booked session, which made it overcrowded. With six players on the track, it became less enjoyable—I had to slow down multiple times to avoid hitting a kid, which really took the fun out of it. The venue is quite small. Parking is free for 2 hours, which is a plus. There’s NO air conditioning, but the iPads and battlekarts themselves are in good condition. Overall, the experience was just fair. I’d give it two stars.

We went as a trio, 40ish, 18 and 12. Played 2 x 10 minute rounds with a few other players, racing and colours, then snake and racing . Great fun, bit expensive but I think worth it. Be aware of the optional $9 booking cancellation fee, i must've been half asleep when booking and paid it. Staff are friendly enough, carts are easy to drive, games are fun but pretty short so make sure you do multiple sessions. We will return next time we're in Sydney for a rematch.
